Information on adult day program services is available on this page, listed by county. We've identified 8 key indicators that help people decided which program is best for them. The indicators are listed below. You'll find the markers that apply to their services next to each program in our list, based on the program's self-description. Each program includes contact information. For many programs, you'll also find a survey that tells more about the program, pictures, and other information about those services. Community Based Groups/all of the participants in programs marked community based spend over 50% of program time in the community. Paid Work Primary goal of the program is assisting some/all participants in paid individual or group work. Work may be in the community or at the program. Employment Resources Academics Program offers emphasis on academic skills in addition to the typical functional skills training. Adult Education Resources Leisure Program emphasizes various leisure activities. May include a focus on the arts. Flexible Schedule Participants have attendance options that may include part-time, evening and weekends, and variable schedules. Standard schedules are weekdays, during business hours. Wheelchair Accessible Program serves individuals who are non-ambulatory. "Non-ambulatory" may include anyone with significant mobility support needs. Personal Care Program routinely provides assistance with daytime personal care needs, including toileting and meals. Behavioral Supports Program provides behavioral supports. Staffing ratios are lower than typical day program. Special arrangements can sometimes be made for individual supports through the IPP.
